This is a creative writing class and we run these sessions on a monthly basis. This session will be a special Christmas and winter themed one. Children will take part in group based games to get their ideas flowing and then we will spend the rest of the session writing and discussing writing with a key emphasis on sharing the work they did to help build confidence in discussing their ideas and work.
Ages this activity will be suitable for are between 8-12 but as children are all unique this may vary slightly.
This activity is designed to improve writing and creative writing skills in a fun and engaging way and to promote an interest in creative writing.

Upminster Library is hosting a Christmas craft and story time event tailored specifically for children under the age of five. Young participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on craft activities, creating holiday-themed decorations that they can take home. Parents and guardians are encouraged to join in the fun, making it a perfect way to celebrate the holiday season together.
