Ancestry provides access to 1 billion searchable UK family history records.  This collection enables members to explore their family history using censuses 1841-1911, the 1939 Register, fully indexed birth, marriage and death records, passenger lists, British telephone directories, British military records and parish records.  It is particularly useful for London parish records.

Findmypast has over 2 billion searchable records including censuses 1841-1921, the 1939 Register, British military records, fully indexed birth, marriage and death records, parish records back to 1538, Crime, Prisons and Punishment records 1770-1935, England and Wales electoral registers 1910-1932, UK Electoral Registers from 2002.
