We have a range of meeting rooms available to hire in Havering libraries at competitive rates.
&nbsp;
Our meeting rooms are equipped with tables and seating, with some spaces suitable for meetings or conferences for up to 100 people.
&nbsp;
Alternatively, the rooms can be used for exercise classes, parties (please enquire with each individual branch), study groups and more.
&nbsp;
You are also welcome to visit any of the branches to have a look at the space for yourself.

<h2>How the Service Works</h2>
The service exists to provide a tailor-made service to all members of the community who are unable (whether on a temporary or permanent basis) to visit their local library.
&nbsp;
It is available to residents of Havering who are unable to get to the library due to age, illness or disability and have no-one who can visit a branch library on their behalf.
&nbsp;
Our volunteers will visit you in your own home at an arranged date and time with your local library and provide you with all the services that are available through loan in the Library Service.
&nbsp;
Loan of all categories of fiction and non-fiction (in either spoken word CD or large print stock) are available from the entire Havering Libraries' collection.
&nbsp;
We compile an individual reader profile for each of our customers based on their reading preferences, which is regularly updated and allows us to provide our customers with the service they require.
&nbsp;
Customers can borrow up to 25 items at any time and we are happy to renew items on request.
&nbsp;
All items may be borrowed to individual customers free of charge.&nbsp; In addition we are happy to take and supply requests free of charge.
&nbsp;

If you prefer to listen to books rather than reading them, we have a wide range of spoken word CDs for you to choose from.

Ann Stilwell arrives in New York City, hoping to spend her summer working at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Instead, she is assigned to The Cloisters, a gothic museum and garden renowned for its collection of medieval and Renaissance art. There she is drawn into a small circle of charismatic but enigmatic researchers, each with their own secrets and desires, including the museum's curator, Patrick Roland, who is convinced that the history of Tarot holds the key to unlocking contemporary fortune telling. Relieved to have left her troubled past behind and eager for the approval of her new colleagues, Ann is only too happy to indulge some of Patrick's more outlandish theories.
