This is a creative writing class for children, we run these sessions on a monthly basis. Children will take part in group based games to get their ideas flowing and then we will spend the rest of the session writing and discussing the writing with a key emphasis on sharing the work they did to help build confidence in discussing their ideas and work.
Ages this activity will be suitable for are between 8-12 but as children are all unique this may vary slightly.
This activity is designed to improve writing and creative writing skills in a fun and engaging way and to promote an interest in creative writing.
***Bookings made on here will be removed after 3 days if payment is not made at the library within that time as spaces are limited.***
Come along to Harold Hill Library and join us for an animal and nature themed Storytime and Craft this March to celebrate World Wildlife Day, Plant a Flower Day, International Day of Forests, and World Water Day!
We will be making our own nature scenes out of card and craft materials and we will also be planting a seed to take home and grow in a small pot that can also be decorated before we do the planting. It should be a lot of fun and the activity is aimed to get children thinking about the natural world around them especially as Spring is approaching.
We hope to see you soon!
